Seedings and Schedule
The seedings and game schedules have been posted for the 2007 UPA High School Eastern Championships. Now it just comes down to playing the games. Amherst Varsity comes in as the top seed in the Girls Division looking to extend their Easterns championship streak to 3 straight years. And while two up-and-coming Pennsylvannia schools (Pennsbury and North Hills) enter the tournament seeded above Amherst in the Open Division, you can bet that Amherst won't easily relinquish the hold they've had on the UPA high school title since 2003. Bids Announced
Bids for the 2007 UPA High School Eastern Ultimate Championships have been announced. With a record number of teams applying in the Open Division, team selection was more difficult than ever. In the first year where Girls Division teams were required to be all single-school teams, we were excited to fill the division and accept all applying teams. In both divisions, the strength of teams and the geographic range look to make this a very exciting event. Best of luck to all the teams, and thanks to all the players and coaches who continue to grow and support high school Ultimate.
